I picked up some interesting facts regarding the attention to maintaining a healthy and fertile soil.
Despite the very low environmental impact of some chemical herbicides treatments on the market, Endrizzi has decided to completely eliminate the use, instead of controlling the growth of weeds with a mechanical system (making the whole man). Soil Ecology and Biodiversity in vineyards

Talking to a winemaker's cellar, I learned some techniques that Endrizzi used to combat the problem of pests in vineyards. One of these is the use of insectivorous birds: the vineyards were established ca. 25 nests per hectare, which are cleaned annually to encourage the installation of these "natural helpers". The birds feeding on insects that otherwise would like to thank would create only prolbemi. This method allows to reduce drastically the use of chemicals and thus maintain a healthy environment.
Another method used for ecological control of insects is that of "sexual confusion" . This is a technique used throughout the Trentino to combat the spread of moth (insect very dangerous for the screw).

La Cantina Endrizzi is located in an area well known for its wine production: the Piana Rotaliana. Personally, I find that it is also a truly picturesque mountains, vineyards and a sky always blue are among the main features of San Michele. When I went to the cellar for the first time the landscape was just hitting me more. The company, in fact, lies at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by lush vegetation. Apart from the vineyards (everywhere present), there is also a stream and not far away, a forest.
The company is a very old building and distinctive, dating back to 1885, the year the winery. I knew right away that this was a company closely linked to its history and tradition, with a deep culture of wine. Once inside, I felt the same feeling visiting the historic wine cellar (dating back to 1885 in fact), a place so fascinating to be among the most popular location for wedding parties! The new store, however, wonder of technology advanced and innovative techniques used. Essential element that characterizes both is still the scent of wine.

Not long ago I was called by Cantina Endrizzi, Trentino, to write a novel theme, with a view to "relaunch the brand." Why me? Apparently, during the research staff, have stumbled in my thesis (in creative writing) and, finding it interesting, they thought I was the right person for this kind of appointment.
