No Words Basketball Warm Ups

A document of 1680

In recent days, in addition to running the draft of my book, I am looking for some inspiration by reading historical documents that preserve the Cantina. I found a book called "The Rule of the Community Charter of the Faedo, 1680" which contains the customary rules that were the basis of the organization of the old rural communities of this area. In a chapter referring to Masetto you understand that even then (1680), the building was used for the production of wine. Not from Endrici, which in those years were probably in Val di Non, but it is interesting to note that the vocation of a place is written in its history.

" -Chapter 35 - To the farm alli Masetti.
What the conductor of the selling farm alli masetti Wine, Vernazza, et brandy sij obligated to call the wine Misurador community to measure this effect, under the pen of being punished car.5-time. As this is also the patron of obbligatione dell'istesso farm when selling wine, Vernazza et acquaviva cs Since then placed other persons in their farm Wine, Vernazza et Acquaviva, sijno patrons must pay them to the auflegaria misurador elected by the community.
That the community, to release the owner or presenter of sij masetti to be a rule, more than 3 times a year to the shop a year for the price to be determined by it. What
them or conductors Patrons must attend processions. "

Ford Escape For 5,000

Company History (second part)

[...]" My grandfather spent a few years of his early youth in Val Venosta (he called the Finska Vintschgau) to do the "hunger", ie the family, that is to work with a family of farmers, usually to care for the stable and perform light work in the country. He was not paid, except perhaps a small fee for Christmas. The family therefore, provide only for its maintenance. He worked as they used then, the stars through the roof.
But in return he learned German well, probably the Tyrolean dialect, and so, after a few years, I think towards the '78 he went to Germany to do the 'eisenponero ", that he was employed as a laborer in the construction of railways. He worked in Saxony, where but for an accident fractured a leg and had to return. I remember that he often complained of this also as an old man's leg, which forced him to use the stick. He had learned how to work wood staves and in that capacity came to S. Michele , I think around 1880, where he met and married my grandmother Joan. It was a beautiful brunette girl with sweet face and expressive, as it appears in a picture that I still at home. In a few years he had four children, two boys and two girls. His death was a tragedy for my grandfather. Although it was still a young man did not want to remarry.
The Pilgrims were in the country one of the most respectable families and for those times one of the most affluent. They had several campaigns: the Hill, the caesura, the Giaurost, Gizzoni the campaigns that are still the property of their descendants.
In 1885, that after only five years, with his brother and brother Angelo Romano founded the company, which was called " Fratelli Endrizzi . The initial site was probably in the house Pellegrini, where there was also a cellar. The administrative part I think it was initially treated by his uncle Roman, who was the brain between the three partners. My grandfather probably took care of the winery with his brother Angelo.
These two brothers in a few years bought the Masetto, one of the finest farms in the valley, already owned by Count Thun, who was said to possess one hundred farms. But not only bought the farm, few years later, in 1896, built the present winery, or rather the north, with the floor above where they are currently the offices of the company, while the South was built by my father, I believe around 1910.
In those early years as the company grew in the local market and nearby regions of the Austrian Empire which then belonged, in the Tyrol, Carinthia, Vorarlberg and also in eastern Switzerland. When I did the research for the name I could find that cauldron the first three Trent Caldaro barrels were exported by us in 1897 in Carinthia, and shortly after a car full of 100 hectoliters was sent to Switzerland. Switzerland became the largest market for Swiss customers and we remained faithful to the World War II. They sold wines with names of local varieties: Teroldego , Negrara, Nosiola and the famous or Tiroler Spezial Spezial, a wine from the hills, a mix of slaves, and Rossara Negrara, which were then prevalent varieties in our hills. Then there was the Kretzer, a rosé Teroldego and slaves. The score was composed of small importers, especially from innkeepers, hoteliers and some private. He sold everything in wooden casks, the smallest of 25/30 liters, the largest of 7 liters. Did not exist nor the carboys, bottles or the. And even the bottle was almost a classic rarity, a luxury item, which was eaten only on special occasions.

The only wine "worthy" of the bottle was "Masetto Nero" made from the grapes more color charges (tannins and anthocyanins), which were described as "black" were Teroldego and local varieties such as Lagrein and Cabernet and Merlot imported at the turn of 800 and 900 from France.
The other grapes that is the "Slave, and Negrara Rossara" were called "red".
Only later came the "Masetto Bianco" perhaps a cuvee of "Burgundy White Riesling and Nosiola. At the time of my grandfather and my father's wines were designated the place of origin, as in France and not by the name of the grape as in Germany. "

Company History (Part One)

browsing the historical documents of the Cellar I found one very interesting: it is the history told by Endrici Franco, father of the owner. The carry-over as it is written in the original:
"The history is the history of my family. The 100 years since 1885, the foundation company, will be the date of birth of my father, in December 1884. He was the eldest of a family of four children, two of whom died very young. At that time infant mortality was high in our countries. The family of my grandmother, the Pilgrims, from the Maso Ginever Cembra Valley, just downstream of Ceola, he had six dead children under twelve years, as you can still see a plaque in the cemetery of S. Michele. Of the three surviving children only one daughter, Aunt Mary, who I have known, survived to old age, while my grandmother Jane died very young in less than thirty years for pneumonia (a disease almost always fatal in those days). The brother Romano Pellegrini, who was one of the founders of the company, died too young, he had less than forty years. In the village was known as a very intelligent and active man, also has a taste for art and music. He even composed sacred music, which sometimes, I remember, was played on the organ of our church. Probably my father was called with the same name of his uncle, because he enjoyed the esteem of his brother-that is my grandfather. With the untimely death of his mother Joan, father and sister Jenny, orphaned, were under the care of his grandmother, an important figure in the family, an energetic woman and active in the country known as the "Nanda", named after the husband Ferdinand. He was survived by eight of his nine children and lived a long time, until 1913, eighty-six years of age.
My grandfather Francis was born in 1854 in Don , Anaunia into that, that they call the Nones "Sora Tof". He came from a family as large as that of my grandmother and nine children. But it was a more robust strain. Almost all came late in life and I have known at least five. Perhaps the climate of the Valley was not healthier than that of the Adige Valley, where in 1800, in the swampy valley of the malaria still reigned. I remember very well his brother Angelo, who along with Francis founded the company in 1885 . I remember Uncle Mani (Emanuele) fell he, too, in the Val d'Adige, Laives, where he bought a farm. He had the misfortune to marry a woman of tuberculous Termeno family, so all his children died young of this terrible disease. There is only one heir who manages to Laives company. At the time of the options in 1939, the family, despite being dissuaded by my father, opted for Germany. Other relatives of my grandfather I remember Uncle John, the only one of the brothers remained in the old family home in Don, and sisters remember Aunt Emma, \u200b\u200bwho married, I think a Straudi, Dove and her aunt, who I believe was the oldest of this large family. The descendants of Straudi, as often happens in Val di Non, studied at the seminary, two became priests, but both, not having a profound vocation, cast, as they say, his cassock to the nettles and one has since married. Can I Freez Carrot Juice

Wedding

Just a couple of days ago I met a friend who was recently at a wedding party at Cantina Endrizzi. It 'was a stroke of Fortunately, because I really wanted to start my book with a wedding in the cellar, but I had a lot of material available. I got to tell everything in detail, in order to make descriptions faithful and true.
This is, in short, what I talked about how the party was held.
reached the cellar, after the ceremony in the afternoon, spouses and guests made their first stop in the vineyards, where they enjoyed drinks and snacks. Then they moved to the area in front of the wine cellar, where, under a large canopy, waiting for them a delicious appetizer finger food with more wine. Following a path illuminated by candles has led them into an ancient cellar, and there, suspended between barrels and candles, the couple made a toast. One moment, he told me, very touching, in fact she could not hold back a tear and was not the only one! Moving on, guests and spouses arrived the great hall (the old cellar, which I have already written) prepared for dinner by catering service. The hall was decorated with orchids and candles and soft music accompanying the slight hum of the guests. After cutting the cake, which takes place outside the couple and guests were able to dance until late at night under the stars.
My friend came home late at night, but was happy because all the guests seemed to have enjoyed a lot, and the couple had just met. Surely they must have experienced some unforgettable moments!

Cellar Winery The new project

In one of my first post I talked about how the wine cellar is divided into historical and new cellar. The cellar history is certainly fascinating, but I was curious about the new one more to the structure and architecture. So, I asked how it is born and how it was designed this high-tech cellar.
Its history was created in 1999 , when it was decided it was time to support another winery that already exist. We evaluate two different projects, but these had the same defect: they foresee a winery outside of 2700 m2 and 10 m high, a very significant impact on the landscape. Taking into account ancient and historical buildings already exist, none of the two projects could be implemented.
the solution lies with a third project, by architect Roberto Ferrari in collaboration with the architect Christine Endrici, which evaluated the option of building the new underground cellar . In this way we would solve the problem of the landscape, but would have also been benefits from a technical point of view: less temperature fluctuations, to better preserve the wine and grape production in the fall, in order to preserve integrity and character.
Thus in 2003 were completed and work costuzione the new winery began operation . The new winery
provides an optimal circuit for the processing of wine , because each procedure is performed in atmosphere inert nitrogen and CO2 of fermentation is removed with powerful vacuums at the time of its formation through ventilation exhaust dell'acuqa. It also provides an excellent solution for Winery Tours: a bridge overpass fact that visitors avoid interfering with the work of the workers.
I personally find very interesting the ' architecture: in addition to the technical part has been paid attention to interior architectural details such as stairs and walkways, and color effects are created from steel, which stands out in a dark environment in particular.

How To Make My Kodak Camera Work For Oovoo

Serpaia

of the posts I've written so far, I realized that he had never appointed the estate Serpaia. This is an estate which has Endrizzi in the Tuscan countryside and traditional varieties cultivated in which local (Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Alicante, etc..) And some international varieties (Cabernet, Merlot, Petit Verdot, etc...)
Serpaia The project was born in 1999, when Paul and Christine Endrici decided to expand their activities in the Tuscan Maremma . They chose to call it " Serpaia " because the farmer from whom they bought the land not considered suitable for the cultivation of vines, but rather as "grass snakes". In a few years, however, this arid land is transformed into a beautiful vine, thanks to hard work and dedication, but also an ideal climate.
Who knows, maybe I could write my book to go for a visit to the estate and set Serpaia few chapters there too ...

Endrizzi in Wine Tasting Cruise

Friends of the Trent family have just returned from a Costa Cruises to the Caribbean. They were very happy to find the ship two wines from Trentino ( Teroldego and Müller Thurgau ), belonging to, among other things, just to the cellar Endrizzi. Even though they were on another continent, for a moment they felt at home.
With Costa Cruises Endrizzi wines are traveling the world. A great satisfaction for the winery!

How Long Does It Take Enfamil Gentlease Work

Second: the Grand Masetto

Last night, after a long day of writing, at dinner I had the opportunity to try the Gran Masetto , top wine of the winery. As the name implies, this wine is part of the line of Masetto, it is indeed the prince. It is, in fact, an innovative wine, created in 2002 after a long series of experiments to get a new wine from dried grapes Teroldego. The result is a concentration of aromas and flavors that expresses the richness of this variety, the pride of Trentino.

Smell
The bouquet consists of warm notes, fruity full of pink, raspberry and blackberry, which alternate with more hints of spice and mint, to create a feeling of freshly picked ripe grapes.

Taste The flavor is full and persistent, it has a hint of plum that is felt soft to the taste. Powerful and elegant wine, goes well with savory meat or game and can also be used as a meditation wine.

For How Long Is The Sperm Drinkable

At Cantina Endrizzi part of an ancient cellar can be hired to organize weddings, business dinners, conferences and other important events. It is called "The Old Bottaia " for the presence of large barrels nineteenth century. Visiting the room and about how he was usually decorated for weddings, I got a brilliant idea on how to start my book. We are in
Bottaia, chandeliers light up the room and flowers adorn tables and walls. The room is crowded with people, but a little background music makes the atmosphere warm and friendly. The soft light of candles surrounding the guests while the bride, mildly intoxicated, began to dance slowly around the tables yet ready. Two friends who had not seen for a long time remember all the years of college, but suddenly something interrupts their conversation ...

Wind Burn Or Frostbite

idea for the book The History of The Cellar

This morning, while rummaging through books that speak of the Cellar (in Mr. Endrici and with his permission of course), I found a little gem of Luigi Veronelli, a figure of great importance in the wine. This is an article that appeared on "The tenants historical " 89 and tells the Sotra winery. I consider it excellent material for my book, are worth repeating!

<"In campagna si copre tutto lo scibile umano: c'è il primario, con l'agricoltura, il secondario, ché una buona parte del lavoro per produrre il vino è proprio industria e il terziario, perchè il vino bisogna farlo conoscere se si vuole venderlo": con questa considerazione economico-filosofica Endrici Paul, smiling and ironic, he gave up his law degree while brilliant, and the world enoic has gained another protagonist. He married Christine , architect, born near Stuttgart, which was happy to put roots in Italy and cooperating company family, perhaps because the international tradition of the house should not have lost. He was born in 1885 Fratelli Endrizzi, by brothers Frank and Angelo, and had built a clear success in the marketplace of the entire Austro-Hungarian Empire, and remained for a long time, until the advent of the wineries, the largest ever across the Trentino. Even then, they were planted the finest vineyards that were known, Cabernet, Pinot, Riesling, firsts for the land. Romano, son of Francis, continued the business after its annexation to Italy, also devoted himself to politics: he served as president of the province for eight years. Franco, son of the Roman Empire, but had the onerous task of reviving the company sorely tried by the upheaval of World War II. He pointed export and won, ran from 1957 to 1975 the Provincial Committee wine with predominant personality: it is precisely in those years and under his direction the Trentino wine acquires an image of respect on the new domestic and foreign markets.
Today is Paul running the show and his job is to seek ever more fiercely with the quality. It 'helped in this by the country in which the company is located, San Michele Adige, and is therefore a natural collaboration with the Agricultural Institute.
has two farms the property, the first, the fact Masetto, where the headquarters of the Cantina, and the beautiful farm Kinderleit, formerly the Augustinian abbey, founded in 1145. Its beauty has raised it as an emblem of viticulture thirty, and his photo is everywhere to emphasize the elegance of these wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Teroldego Rotaliano, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Muller Thurgau, all signed Endrizzi , Endrici and not because it wants the dialect.>

A fairytale castle

Not far from the winery, located on a hill and surrounded by woods, there is a castle that seems almost magical. This is the Königsberg Castle Monreale, very old castle which is connected with an important historical event: in 589 in this place was the marriage between Autari Teodolinda and King of the Lombards, daughter of the King of the Bavarians. It seems that the name Königsberg (literally "mountain of the King") resulting from this event. This takes place

Interesting Ways To Word Wedding Invitations

Goethestaße

Walking through the vineyards I noticed some panels similar to these, scattered in different parts of the territory of the winery. I inquired and found out that it is the 'route dedicated to Goethe, who in 1786 passed through here in the vineyards Endrizzi note information on the composition of the soil of the vineyards. These notes were then reported on the signs so that tourists who visit the winery can read. The route is part of a project called "Europäische Goethestraße " and was prepared under the auspices of the Goethe Society in Weimar.

Extreme Nervousness Sweating Hyperglycemia

Before tasting: The Masetto Nero

First I must say that I found it really good (for what it's worth my opinion because they do not 'm not an expert).
I had the good fortune to taste, accompanied by a sommelier who kind I described the features.

Name
line of Masetto (Black, White, and last but not Great Masetto) represents the true identity of the wine Endrizzi, expressing tradition, history and culture. The name "Masetto" comes from the name of the building in 1600 where the family got their first Endrici roots and where the winery has sprung. This is a line of wines superioriore, obtained from a selected harvest and careful attention throughout the winemaking process. Historically this wine was produced by combining all the grapes "black" in the House, that is, Lagrein and Teroldego, and two international, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, imported from France towards the end of '800. This tradition has been kept until now, hence the name "Masetto Nero" (all other grapes, in fact, were considered to be red). It is left to mature for two years.

Smell the bouquet of wine is composed by the combination of scents, "plants" of the two international varieties (tomato, pepper ..) with fruity notes of local grapes (berries, raspberry, blackberry) and notes that lets the wood (balsamic, liquorice).

Taste In Mouth feel the softness of alcohol and a pleasant freshness due to the Alpine climate (acidity and taste typical of the area), along with a hint of tannins.
This is a big red wine from you with the meat.

The Garden of Fragrance

Walking through the vineyards I have noticed the rows of grape varieties with very different and I asked what it was ... Well, this is the "Garden Perfume, "a vineyard of 22 rows, where there are a bit 'all the varieties of grapes grown in Trentino. At the beginning of each row there are three plants (fruits, flowers, herbs) that have similarities with the aromatic varieties of grapes grown.

really interesting and unusual.

Engineering Surveying Jobs In Florida

White or red? Winemaking

What is the difference between how to make white wine and red? I've found talking to a winemaker's cellar Endrizzi. Here are the techniques they use in this company.

White
Prince The concept of the technique used for making wine from the white, you get to squeeze the juice when you want to dall'acino get the best quality of wine. This is accomplished by arriving at the cellar ' grape integrates virtually , thus using the low cabinets so that the grapes are not crushed during transport. As a result, the grapes are passed by gravity into the press where it is slowly crushed so that the grape skin is broken but not shattered. This allows a smaller presence of grape skins and therefore a greater clarity of the wort. The process occurs in inert nitrogen atmosphere to prevent oxidation caused by contact with air and keep the most of all the aromatic compounds and grape varietal. Having a low presence of the skins, fermentation can take place immediately after the exit from the press. The process, thus simplified, more respects the quality of the grapes, resulting in a better final product.

Red
As for the red system uses the "Ganymede" . This system allows a mixing between solid and liquid continuous and, using the carbon dioxide is naturally produced during fermentation. Thus avoids the need to act mechanically. After fermentation, red wines are made in steel tanks for a first and then settling in oak barrels. The wine is more suitable for aging is then transferred to barrels, where he stayed from 6 months to 2 years (eg Teroldego reserve).
