Last night, after a long day of writing, at dinner I had the opportunity to try the Gran Masetto , top wine of the winery. As the name implies, this wine is part of the line of Masetto, it is indeed the prince. It is, in fact, an innovative wine, created in 2002 after a long series of experiments to get a new wine from dried grapes Teroldego. The result is a concentration of aromas and flavors that expresses the richness of this variety, the pride of Trentino. Smell
The bouquet consists of warm notes, fruity full of pink, raspberry and blackberry, which alternate with more hints of spice and mint, to create a feeling of freshly picked ripe grapes.
Taste The flavor is full and persistent, it has a hint of plum that is felt soft to the taste. Powerful and elegant wine, goes well with savory meat or game and can also be used as a meditation wine.
